Legends

Throughout Incident Management you will see various icons that indicate the status of alerts or situations of a case, and you may see colors that can also provide meaning.

Icons

The following table includes the icons that you may see in IM, the name of the icon, the name of the tabs in which the icons appear, the name of the column in which the icons appear (if applicable), and an explanation of what the icon means. Not every grid includes every icon, and your organization may not use every icon.

Icon Name Tab Column Definition
Red Alert Home, Cases, Search Priority Indicates that the case has a high alert level.
Yellow Alert Home, Cases, Search Priority Indicates that the case has a medium alert level.
Green Alert Home, Cases, Search Priority Indicates that the case has a low alert level.
Hotline Case Home, Cases, Search Source Indicates that the case was opened in the application through the Incident Management Reporting Hotline. The EPRS# column lists the hotline report number, if available. Cases without an icon were opened directly in IM or through a non-hotline report form.
New Report Home, Cases, Search Case # Indicates that you have not viewed this case.
Updated Report Home, Cases, Search Case # Indicates that the case was updated since you last viewed it.
icon Add to Watchlist Cases (case view) N/A Indicates that the case is not on your watchlist. Click the icon to add it.
icon Remove from Watchlist Cases (case view) N/A Indicates that the case is on your watchlist. Click the icon to remove it.

Colors

The following table includes the colors that you may see in the application, the name of the tabs in which the colors appear, and an explanation of what the color means.

Color Tab Meaning Definition
Red Cases Search terms When you search for terms on the Search tab and then click a case number to view the case, the system highlights the search terms in red.
Dark gray Home, Cases, Assignments, Search Filter in use If you select a column heading or group to filter records, the heading changes to dark gray, and its filter icon becomes orange.
