Concurrent and Dedicated Seat Licenses
EthicsPoint Incident Management users must be assigned seat licenses to access the system. Seat licenses are assigned by an administrator when users are being added to the system. There are two types of seat licenses available for users, Concurrent and Dedicated seat licenses.
Concurrent Seat License
This license is shared between all concurrent users. Only a certain number of concurrent seat licenses can be used at once; therefore, only a certain number of users can be logged into the system at once.
-
For example, if your organization has three concurrent seat licenses and ten concurrent users, only three concurrent users can be logged into the system simultaneously. If a fourth concurrent user attempts to log in, the user will be denied access because all concurrent seats are full. The fourth user can access the system once one of the three concurrent users logs off.
Note: When an additional concurrent user attempts to log in when all seats are occupied, they will be denied access and the System Administrators will receive a Concurrent Seats Full email notification informing them of the attempt.
Dedicated Seat License
This license is not shared between all users. The Dedicated seat license is assigned to specific designated users, that is, System Administrators or users that require dedicated access. Any user with this license can access the system at any time.
Viewing Seat License Count
You can view how many Dedicated and Concurrent seat licenses your organization currently has, as well as how many licenses are in use.
Note: Your organization can purchase additional seat licenses for users. To inquire about additional seat licenses, contact NAVEX Customer Support by submitting a request in the Community.
