Create a New Ad Hoc Analytics Report
The Custom Ad Hoc Query report puts a powerful report creation tool in your hands, providing you with settings to create and run a customized report. You can run reports on data from a single tier or multiple tiers and over as broad or narrow a date range as you want. You can select single or multiple criteria for specific results. You control how much information appears in the tabular results by selecting the options that you want to see in the resulting report.
Select from the available options in step 1, and then select the fields that you want to show in step 2.
Running Custom Ad Hoc Queries
- From the Analytics landing page, click the + icon and select Custom Ad Hoc.
- Make selections for filtering your information:
- Tier and Location
Tip: If your organization has multiple tiers organized in a parent-child hierarchy, click Click to Select Subsidiaries to automatically include all the child tiers in your selected tier.
- Date / Time Period
- Case Detail
- Select up to 25 fields for your report.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Run Custom Ad Hoc Query.
- Click Export to Excel.
- (Optional) Save the report. For more information, see Saving Report Settings.
